Bonnie Helms has 20 years extensive experience working with families as a practicing marital and family law attorney and civil mediator.
Ms. Helms has been certified as a Circuit Civil Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court since 1995 and is also a Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator.
Ms. Helms earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from University of Miami School of Law in 1990 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Valparaiso University in 1987. She has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1990.
Ms. Helms also handles probate/estate administration, residential landlord tenant disputes and other general civil law matters. She established her law practice, Bonnie J. Helms, P.A., in 1994. Prior to that she worked for the State of Florida Department of Child Support Enforcement throughout the Florida Keys representing parents in need of child support, paternity determinations and upward or downward modifications of child support.
